The vacuum tube is composed of moving and static contacts, metal shielding cover, splash tube and a sealed container composed of ceramic ring. The bellows is welded with the flange of the moving contact and the sealed container to ensure that the vacuum degree in the container is not affected when the moving contact moves axially. The action of the mechanism separates the moving and static contacts, and the plasma of metal vapor is formed in the contact gap. When the current crosses zero, the metal vapor decreases, and finally the contact gap appears a vacuum state. By the ground vacuum medium has a high dielectric strength and fast medium recovery speed, the recovery voltage between the contacts can not make the gap breakdown, the circuit is broken.
